Welcome To My Website! I would like to share a little about myself so you can get to know me. I graduated from Professional Cosmetology Institute in Ames, IA in 1979. I have worked in the field of cosmetology for 28 years. You may think this makes me "old" and be concerned I cannot do the most trendy and young looks, but with my extensive experience and continual upgrading of my education, I am able to perfect the most recent looks as well as the "older" styles. My experience includes owning and operating salons throughout most of my career and also teaching Cosmetology and Esthetics at La James College in Cedar Falls. I have continually attended classes and seminars over the years in order to keep up with changes and new trends in the cosmetology industry. I also have a BS in Human Services and have extensive experience in relating to people of all ages with compassion and professionalism. I enjoy working with all people and hope you will let me be of service to you and your family!!! |

I have recently developed an interest in Holistic Healing and am now offering Reiki in my salon. Reiki is an amazing holistic healing technique that just about anyone with good intentions and the right training can do. I am certified as a Reiki II practitioner and have been getting very good results with pain relief and healing right here in Debbie's Hair Designs! Your first session is FREE and I guarantee you will love it! For those of you that are worried you would have to remove clothing: you DON'T. Only your shoes are removed. It is very relaxing and quite a treat! New spa services are now on my menu also. Come in for a relaxing spa pedicure and/or facial in my relaxing Reiki room. You will be pampered in privacy! Also offering spa manicures! |

Have you ever been shopping in a drugstore or
supermarket and spotted on the shelves what you thought were "professional salon
products?" You may have wondered why they were on those shelves when you
thought they were only supposed to be sold in professional salons. You may have
thought, “I will just pick up my shampoo here. I won’t have to make an extra
stop at the salon, and it must be cheaper since this is a “discount” store!”
BEWARE!!! The reason those professional products are on those shelves is because
they were sold UNAUTHORIZED! Products such as Matrix, Tigi, Kenra, Redken,
American Crew, Nioxin, and many others are sold exclusively in salons. Purchase
diverted products AT YOUR OWN RISK! Unauthorized and dishonest distributors and
salons or salon employees are profiting from this form of piracy. The problem
for you, as a consumer of these products, is these diverted products may have
been sitting on warehouse shelves long past their expiration. They may be
diluted and counterfeit. They may not be safe for you to use. Contaminated
products can cause irritation and infection! And you better look closely at that
price! They are usually sold at 10% higher than professional salon retail
price!! Spread the word! Product diversion is costly, dangerous, and dishonest! |
